Kristine Jepsen is a writer and editor in Northeast Iowa publishing creative nonfiction and essays. Often informed by her work as a farm/food business owner, her experience parenting an only child (born weighing 1lb 13oz), and blazing awareness that fulfillment is a thing begotten, her work has won the Diana Woods Memorial Award for Creative Nonfiction and earned her a spot in the Association of Writers & Writing Programs Writer-to-Writer mentorship program. Her chapbook, Jaw Wiring: What You Need to Know, won the Flash Nonfiction Competition at Sweet: A Literary Confection and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
